I have been a social worker for nearly 15 years and about half of that time I’ve worked in the capacity as a therapist. I consider myself a well-rounded clinician having worked in a variety of settings: private group practice, residential treatment, child welfare and forensic social work. I believe in the inner strength of us all and understand that when life throws us a curveball we sometimes need a balance of acceptance and change. Acceptance that we’re experiencing emotional pain in the moment, that we’re handling the moment with the tools we have learned, and understand that this is a likely opportunity to move toward a change. I treasure everyone’s life story and in the moment if you find your voice needs to be heard, your pain needs validation, and you are seeking some type of change, I am available to you for therapy.
