Hi, I'm Teresa. You have taken the first step on your journey to health and healing. It takes strength to take that first step, often the most difficult step, to ask for help. I want to help you to learn to manage your struggles and feel in control of your life. Let me tell you a bit about myself:

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) practicing in Wisconsin. I have a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and a MA degree in Community Psychology - Professional Counseling from Alverno College. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, anger management and ADHD. I have also helped people who have experienced sexual assault trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is compassionate and caring, I will not judge you or tell you what to do. I want to help you determine and achieve your goals. I believe in a client centered approach, this is ​your time, I will be there to guide you along the way, you will decide the path to take. I believe the therapeutic relationship is primary. I will work to build a trusting relationship with you. I believe in an open and honest relationship and I encourage you to share your honest feedback with me so that I can meet your needs and expectations.
