My name is Teresa Luongo and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Child/Family Studies from Syracuse University. I also graduated from Columbia University with a Master's Degree in Social Work. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years. I am experienced in helping clients handle various concerns such as relationship issues, stress, depression, anxiety, family conflicts and life transitions.

I like to create a warm and inviting environment where clients feel at ease and not judged. I am a good listener and will also challenge you to find a way to best handle your issue or concern. I use an eclectic approach to therapy with my style including cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-directed therapy, emotion-focused therapy, positive psychotherapy, and solution-focused therapy.

It takes great strength and courage to seek help. It is my goal to have clients use their strengths and will to change to lead a healthier and happier life!
