About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with 10 years of counseling experience. Most of the clients I work with have concerns around anxiety, depression, sleep issues, relationships and social challenges. I have also worked with many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse.

Therapy is both a rewarding and challenging experience, my goal is to create an environment where you feel safe and comfortable and where we can nurture your personal growth. My hope is that you find our sessions to be compassionate and collaborative. I take a person-centered approach to counseling that is based on each person’s individualized goals, strengths and needs. I often use cognitive-behavioral methods along with motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy and other approaches as indicated by your specific plan for treatment.
