As a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania and Missouri and a licensed professional counselor in Kansas (LCPC) and Florida (LMHC), Teresa Cote brings a wealth of expertise to her practice. She is also nationally certified as a counselor (NCC) and holds additional qualifications as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) in Kansas and EMDR and ART specialist. Teresa's diverse qualifications and extensive experience allow her to take a holistic approach to counseling, addressing both mental health and substance abuse concerns. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based counseling to help her clients overcome their challenges, build resilience, and live more fulfilling lives. Teresa has over two decades of experience working with individuals, families, and couples in a variety of clinical inpatient and outpatient settings. Her areas of expertise are diverse and comprehensive, including severe mental health disorders such as schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders, as well as more common concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse (PTSD), grief & loss, adjustment issues, anger management/domestic violence, couples and family conflict resolution, and substance abuse disorders.
