I have provided therapy for the LGBTQAI+ community for the past 30 years. I treat depression, anxiety, trauma, coming out and transitioning, relationships and families. I also specialize in the treatment of Dissociative Identity Disorder, which I have been treating since 1998. Since beginning as a therapist in the early 1990s; I have seen and been part of the change and challenges. I identify as lesbian and my partner of many years identifies as transgendered. So personally and professionally I know what it is like to experience life from both sides. I treat trauma and dissociative disorders also. There is often an element of childhood trauma being "different." I use trauma informed therapy including EMDR, which has proved highly effective in resolving specific traumas, including complex PTSD or C-PTSD. I provide individual and family therapy.
