Hello To All,
My name is Terance Miles Dawkins, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker- Clinical Practice (LISW-CP). I received my education from Winthrop University, where I received by Bachelor and Masters Degree in Social Work. I have been providing individual and family counseling for about 3 years now. I primarily like to utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, as I believe the way we think greatly impacts our behaviors and emotions. I have had experience working with client's diagnosed with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I am a firm believer that the client's are the most important component to the success for therapy. This is why I like for all my client's to be active participants in the entire treatment process. As a therapist, I do not fix clients, as they are not broken. I am just a resource to assist clients with unlocking their full potential.
