Hello and welcome! My name is Taylora. The counseling process can feel frightening and intimidating, and the journey to healing can seem like a long road. I would like to come alongside you to help you on this road. During this process there may be hard times and good times, but together we will seek healing and a sense of peace. It may help you to know that I have also been on this road and have been grateful for the support and growth I have received in counseling.

I am Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan. I received a Master of Counseling with a cognate in Addictions from Cornerstone University in 2016. I earned a Bachelors in Psychology from Central Michigan University with a minor in Family Life and Human Sexuality in 2003. I have worked with families and people of all ages in a social work capacity for approximately 20 years.

I operate within a person-centered framework, using whatever skills and techniques are appropriate for your personal process. Some of the areas in which I have worked include trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, relationship and family issues, eating disorders, and parenting issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and DBT informed, among other therapeutic modalities, to help you set and reach your personal goals and to begin the change process in your life.
