Welcome to Find A Therapist! Choosing to seek support from a therapist is not always an easy task. I want to help you feel comfortable and provide a non-judgmental atmosphere so that you can begin your journey to healing. 

My name is Taylor Adams and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, with a concentration in interpersonal trauma, from New York University in 2015. I am also a 200-hour registered yoga teacher trained at the Trauma Center for Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY).  I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings over the years with both adolescents and adults. Recently, I have been specifically working with victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking. I specialize in treating trauma and have the experience of treating a wide range issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression and personality disorders.

The connection between a therapist and client is one of the biggest factors for success. I meet my clients where they are and work collaboratively, at their pace, to make them feel safe and supported. As trauma is my area of expertise, I know that there is no one-size-fits-all therapy. I use a variety of therapeutic interventions in my sessions, always trauma-informed and client centered. I want my clients to feel heard and empowered and I encourage them to use their voice.

My hope is that the ease of access to having therapy at your fingertips will make this process something you can look forward to. Therapy is about you and your right to heal.
