I am a fan of the human condition and I love learning about people. I enjoy providing support for people on their life journey. I have a laid back approach to providing therapy. I focus on wellness and mindfulness. I meet you where are you in your journey without judgment. I aim to provide a supportive environment so that you can feel safe with sharing your story with me so that we can work as a team to help you gain insight, motivation, and hope. I believe everyone can achieve their goals. I use a person-centered approach in my therapy. That means that I meet you where you are at in your journey. I let you have the driver seat and I provide a sort of navigation to help you decide for yourself, where you want to go. You are the professional at knowing you and I’m the professional at providing you with tools to add to your toolbox of life.

I have worked in the mental health field for 16 years. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2003 from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and obtained my Master's Degree in Community Counseling in 2012 from Eastern Michigan University. I am fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Michigan. I have a background in working with people in a multitude of settings including: community, inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, substance abuse, and in-home case management services. I have provided clinical therapy since 2014. I have had experience with working with individuals that have experienced trauma, struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD and lack of motivation. I have worked with couples, as well as working with individuals that are struggling with addiction.
