Hi there, I'm Tatiana! My name is Tatiana Wilson, LMHC. My clinical approach is CBT. I have experience with crisis intervention & trauma, as well as mood disorders. My approach My most common theoretical orientations are CBT & DBT. My focus I typically work with adults between the ages of 18 and up. My communication style If you are looking to find a therapist who will provide you with a safe, warm, and welcoming space; where you can discuss about your emotional, social, and interpersonal struggles in a non-judgmental manner; and embark on your journey to growth, healing, and recovery, I would be more than honored to assist you in this process. Asking for help is not always easy, but doing so is the first step toward feeling better. My journey to therapy My father suffered from drug abuse and alcohol addiction. After his passing, I became motivated to do this work after suffering from depression thereafter. My goals for you I approach goal setting with clients by asking them what their expected goals are in therapy from the intake interview. Then as sessions go by, I will find different techniques to see what works for the client throughout the sessions. My first session with you I'm motivated to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment to help you feel as comfortable as possible to help you move forward in reducing negative emotions, improving relationships with others, or any other issues you may be struggling with.
