I am a Mental Health Counselor, licensed in New York. I have been in this field for over 5 years and am grateful for the opportunity to learn everyday from the people I work with. My experience comes from working with children, adults, and families in an outpatient mental health setting in the community that strives to provide integrated care of mental health, substance use, medication management, and primary care services. My areas of special interest and expertise include depression, anxiety, substance use, adjusting to life changes, and finding meaning and purpose in life.

When I start working with you, I try to get to know you and your current life situation so that we can develop a goal and ways to get there together. My work includes utilizing various techniques and evidenced-based practices from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Strategies. Since we are all unique individuals with different needs, I aim to help in a way that works most effectively for you. Whether you just need to be heard and better understand your current life situation or develop new skills and techniques to reduce your anxiety, I commit myself to this work and our therapeutic relationship.
