Ms. Schory is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of Ohio. Ms. Schory earned her Independent Licensure in 2014 and holds an active LPCC licensure to date.
Ms. Schory’s Practice utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a highly effective and empirically supported treatment modality to therapy. CBT teaches the individual Client insight into their cognitive distortions (ie faulty ways of thinking), and how these cognitive distortions have promoted corresponding maladaptive behavioral responses.
With CBT, the client learns new adaptive ways of thinking, which then promotes new corresponding adaptive behavioral choices, thus leading to a Client’s greater life satisfaction and increased Wellness over time.
