Hello my name is Tanya Masci. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been practicing in the field of social work since 1992. I have been honored to have held positions from teen group homes, inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient/after care groups, to current position in private practice. What I hold to be extremely scared is providing the space to hear your story. Everyone deserves the opportunity to share their story with validation and empathy. What we all strive and live for no matter what our circumstances are is the ability to connect and feel loved. I believe we are all interconnected, and are worthy of both love and belonging. Areas of most experience include depression, anxiety and other mood disorders, grief and loss, trauma, perinatal mood disorders, compassion fatigue in caregivers of special needs parents, and adjustment issues. I have been trained in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and hold a certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Whatever you may be exploring or struggling with I will provide a style of therapy that is warm, authentic and caring. I look forward to being that person to help you feel heard, and empowered.
