About
My goal is to support clients as they find their inner strength to face the stressors of daily life with grace and courage. We live in a fast-paced world dominated by social media platforms. I am committed to equipping my clients with the tools necessary to center themselves in a state of peace, tranquility, and self-acceptance. I have 12 years in the helping profession serving clients in all stages of life, from school-aged children to the elderly. For the past eight years, I have worked with veterans in a skilled nursing facility facing end-of-life issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and adjustment issues. While I employ a mixed-method approach, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when working with clients because it helps individuals become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking to view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effectively helpful tool to treat a spectrum of issues from mental health disorders, such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or an eating disorder, to learning how better to manage the stressors and expectations of our daily lives.
