I have been in this field since 2014 and I work with my patients with a solution-focused trauma-informed approach. We work through issues to find solutions and trial things in real time to work through the issue head-on, process the problems, and find things that work best for the patient. I come from a background of working in crisis and trauma and have been in medical settings as an ICU social worker and an ED social worker, I have also worked in community-based settings with crisis teams and done outpatient therapy utilizing crisis work. I utilize person-centered treatment planning and create my modalities with the patient based on their strengths and what will work best for them.
