About
Many of us know that life can come at you hard and fast. Crisis situations, unresolved pain from lived traumatic experiences, and loss can result in feelings that are overwhelming, hard to express and often hard to accept. Throughout my lived experiences, I have encountered and observed how the difficulties associated with transition, adjustment and change can negatively impact one’s emotional well-being. I was motivated to become a Social Worker to assist others as they navigate their path to find the peace, forgiveness, and acceptance needed to heal internal conflicts, to promote a new meaningful and fulfilling approach to life.
I received a Master Degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University. I have more than 7 years of experience working with various populations with ages ranging from 7-80 years of age. I provide both Individual, Group, and Couples Psychotherapy services. I also experience working with the Veteran population who struggle with PTSD and MST related issues.
