In 2019, Tammy took a position as the Substance Abuse Director for a Clinical and Forensic Mental Health private practice, where she focused on outpatient treatment for the Federal Bureau of Prisons Probation, Pre-trial Services, and Parole. That year she also began her journey as an adjunct professor at TAMUCT. In the following years she has taught multiple Social Work electives such as Forensic Social Work, Women's Issues in Social Work, and a Substance Abuse Seminar.
