About

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland and the District of Columbia. I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor. I have twenty years experience in the mental health field. I have worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and many other challenges.
I have worked in juvenile justice as a counselor. I have worked in the school system as a guidance counselor. I worked in an outpatient mental health clinic. I am currently in private practice.
My approach to therapy is empathetic, open, direct and interactive. I believe it is important to provide a safe place for clients to thoroughly process their challenges and progress to new insight. I use an eclectic approach. I use CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness therapy, reality therapy, person centered and solution focused therapy.
Life happens constantly and my role is to provide a nonjudgmental atmosphere for clients to be able to comfortably progress.
