It is my theoretical belief that an individual has the potential to grow and the capability to change. I believe that establishing a relationship based on trust and understanding is imperative for healing to take place. I feel it could be beneficial to explore an individual’s past relationships and experiences to assist in the conceptualization and determine if they currently influence or impact the individual in any way. Our relationship will be a collaborative one where we will both work together to achieve established treatment goals during the counseling process. I believe in meeting clients where they are.
