Hello, my name is Tameka L. Watson and I am a Licensed Clinical and Forensic Social Worker. I am a long-standing resident of Chicago and have an in-depth understanding of urban living and growing up in urban America. I specialize in working with individuals as well as families and love to take a client-centered and trauma-informed approach when working with my clients. I believe that clinicians must understand their biases and be as culturally informed as possible and have a clear understanding that we are the experts of our clients' lives, they are. The therapeutic process is a partnership that requires mutual respect and trust. I enjoy working with all people and have a natural knack for helping others.
