As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and family scientist, I believe in the resiliency and strength of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Questioning, and Ally (LGBTQIQA) community. I also believe that the role that counseling and related professionals assume in working with individuals, groups and communities is a very important one and that the relationships we build have the potential to serve to affirm and honor the lived experiences of LGBQIQA individuals.
