There are times when life's challenges can become overwhelming, hope wavers and confidence suffers, and I am here to help work with you through some of life's more difficult times. I work collaboratively with you as my client toward empowerment in order to find clarity, set goals, and take action. I work from a client-centered approach utilizing a combination of solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral strategies to address issues, identify and challenge negative thinking patterns, identify strengths and develop lifelong skills.
I have almost 10 years of experience providing counseling services via telehealth and have worked in a variety of settings including: crisis assessments and counseling, private practice, message-based counseling and community-based counseling. I work with adults as well as adolescents on a variety of issues, including life transitions, LGBTQ+ concerns, relationship concerns, phase of life problems, grief, anxiety, depression, self-esteem/confidence, among others. I also work from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach. Overall, my overall goal is to empower you, the client, by working WITH you to acquire tools and resources that you can utilize for a lifetime. You set the tone, I lend support, and together we can do it!
