Hello, My name is Tammy and I am a licensed clinical therapist practicing in South Carolina. I believe that it is just as important to take care of our mental health as it is to take care of our physical health. From this perspective, I believe that there are times in everyone's life when we need to "visit the doctor". I engage each client from a person-centered therapy approach, meeting the client where they are and assisting them with identifying their own personal goals for therapy. I engage cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness techniques, as well as integration of other treatment modalities, to assist clients with meeting these goals. I work with a wide variety of mental health conditions, ranging from feelings of low self-worth, depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse, as well as processing and transitioning through phase of life events where we just need a little extra support.
