Hello and thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Tamara and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from Chicago. I now live in Oregon and have over 20 years of experience in helping guide people toward adjusting the challenges in their lives to reach their goals. I have worked in a variety of environments including inpatient hospital settings both medical and psychiatric. I have done group work with the Alzheimer Association and supported patients in their home environment struggling with medical co-morbidities, end of life decision making related to chronic illness and grief and loss. In addition, I have helped clients with depression, anxiety, loss and loneliness, adjustment issues, end of life care planning, chronic illness, caregiver burnout and effects of aging.

We all face challenges in everyday life such as illness, stress, anxiety, depression, isolation, loss and a multitude of other difficulties in life. My approach is to walk with you and guide you toward a path of developing a better you. I will meet you where you are in your journey and work along side you at a pace that is comfortable for you. I integrate a combination of CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Client Centered Therapy to help clients reach their goals in therapy. I help clients identify and recognize their internal strength as I believe we all have the capacity to make positive changes and adjustments in life to create a more balanced and stable existence.
