About

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Washington. I have a master’s degree in Social Work from University of Maryland Baltimore. I am driven by the core social work principles of integrity, social justice and service. I begin all therapeutic relationships by recognizing the strengths, wisdom and resilience each client brings. I believe in the value of listening and honoring the client’s direction in treatment. I see therapy as a partnership and seek to assist each client in developing their own tool set. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have recently completed a yearlong training in Expressive Arts Therapy which incorporate the use of art, music, movement, drama, and writing into treatment. Creative expression is naturally healing and I look forward to facilitating that experience with you.
