A critical yet innovative thinker, I enjoy bringing creative interventions to the therapeutic environment, “thinking outside the box” and developing/employing new approaches to accomplishing the task at hand. In the clinical setting, I utilize integrative approaches including mindfulness, person-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies, and of course, the G.R.A.C.E model. As a Certified Trauma Professional, my treatment specialties include complex trauma, stress management, navigating grief, prioritizing self-care, relationship harmony, developing interpersonal skills, managing anxiety, battling depression, life transitions, and restoring self-worth. I am passionate about women’s health and working with minorities to dispel the myths and taboos associated with seeking mental health treatment.
