Brene Brown once said, “Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” I respect the strength it takes to reach out for help, especially when you are feeling overwhelmed by life. As a therapist, I don’t see myself as the expert on your life, but someone who can hold space for your experiences, provide support, look at situations objectively and offer tools and coping skills to work through emotions.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I am licensed in Nebraska and Iowa. I have worked in community mental health, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and in private practice.

I understand some of the unique challenges families are facing and how mental health struggles can disrupt our ability to live a rich, full, and meaningful life with the people we care about. I am passionate about working with women who may be struggling to find balance or feel overwhelmed in the many roles they play and have additional training in maternal mental health.

I believe we have everything we need inside of us to heal but sometimes we need help finding those parts of us when emotions and the events of life overwhelm us. I use a strengths based approach to help people gain access to their own inner wisdom that will help them feel increased feelings of empowerment and ability to cope with life.
