Hello, my name is Joanne Lam and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping people reach their goals. I work with individuals seeking therapy for a variety of reasons including depression, anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, recent life transitions, grief and loss, chronic health issues, trauma, self esteem and relationship problems. Often times individuals seek therapy because they feel stuck or unsatisfied with a part of their life, or want to explore negative patterns that are holding them back. I also work with individuals who are wanting to improve their feelings of overall happiness, life satisfaction and work towards self actualization.
By creating a therapeutic relationship that provides feelings of trust, safety and compassion, individuals are able to explore their feelings and be met with respect and empathy. I work with clients to identify how their life has been impacted by their experiences and help develop goals for positive change in their lives.
