Syrian McConnico, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), graduated from Webster University with a 4.0 GPA, earning a Master's degree in Counseling, with a Community emphasis. She also holds an MPA from the University of West Florida. She has vast experience in the human services field since 2001, ranging from case management to clinician. She is highly experienced in trauma informed care, familiar with Trauma-Focused CBT, and has served individuals in the intense residential treatment setting. Syrian's clinical approaches tend to utilize CBT, REBT, and Solution-Focused therapies. Syrian is experienced with various populations, including the LGBT community and sexually exploited children. Syrian has a special inclination towards family therapy.
