About

I'm a Licensened Professional Counselor that practice in the state of Texas. I've worked in mental health for approximately 7 years providing crisis services, individual, and group counseling for all age groups. Most of my work has been crisis stabilization but I have my own private counseling practice and do management consulting fulltime. In my years of experience I have found that my niche is working with those who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or family conflict. I have a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and some day hope to further my education to conduct research related to mental illness. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, spending time outdoors, decorating, and watching anything related to interior design.

Now that you know a little about who I am, I would like to shift the focus on what I can do for you. First, I would like to mention that I believe in individualized therapy so I will provide you therapy using various interventions to address your personalized needs. I don't believe any one mode of therapy is universal so you may find me using Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the same session which is perfectly okay if that's what's needed for that session. I will offer you a safe space to work through your needs and look forward to working with you.
