About

My mission is to empower you in reaching your goals towards improvement. I offer mental health outpatient therapy services as a Licensed Professional Counselor who is skilled, experienced, and ready to support your wellness goals in a non-judgmental and individualized environment. I welcome diversity including all body sizes, abilities, races, sexualities, genders, religions and political values. Sue is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Behavior Specialist, and Certified Trauma Professional with over 15 years of experience in a variety of mental health settings. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lock Haven University and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her experience includes outpatient mental health, inpatient mental health, and community based behavioral health. Sue uses a trauma informed, person-centered, cognitive behavioral approach while keeping things individualized for each person’s unique needs. She has specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, stress management, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and many others. Sue has a passion for supporting individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, and has experience working with trans individuals. She has experience with children, adolescents, families, adults, seniors, and special needs/abilities. Sue has wanted to eventually build her own private practice since she was in graduate school and is excited to be pursuing her passion in empowering individuals to meet their goals one step at a time. She’s passionate about taking care of our environment, empowering our younger generations, and de-stigmatizing mental health. Sue enjoys attending seminars, trainings, and workshops to continue to gain knowledge and skills that will benefit those who work with her. Outside of work, Sue enjoys reading, sleeping, spending time with her family, and barbell training.
