I am a professional counselor licensed in Colorado with over 10 years of experience working with individuals. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-confidence, assertiveness, grief and loss, PTSD, adjustment disorders, bi-polar, mood disregulation disorder, suicidal ideation, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, chronic health conditions and ADHD. I also counsel victims of domestic abuse and violence, as well as those who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive, with a dash of humor, here and there. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion; I also like to say "I get in the boat with you and we will spend the session discussing the issue and analyzing options and choices..together."

My approach combines solution focused, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), humanistic, and depth/psycho-dynamic counseling. I am trained in EMDR. I genuinely care about my clients and want to see your issue/pain lessen, if not resolve completely. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
