About
As a mental health counselor for 20 years, I have experience working with clients handling various life stressors, including divorce, grief, trauma and helping survivors heal after sexual assault/abuse. I offer career planning services to assist young adults in setting goals for a successful future or those in need of a career change. I’ve helped clients recover from anxiety and depression and believe in meeting clients where they are at in their journey. During our first session together, I like to take the time for you to feel comfortable with me. I understand the foundation to a good counseling relationship is trust. I know that takes time to build. Making that first appointment takes a lot of courage. I applaud you for taking the first step on your journey. In our fast paced world, our time is very valuable. Having the time to commit to your mental health is a main barrier for many. I offer flexibility so you can take the time you need for yourself. I understand the busy life parents are accustomed to and can offer early morning or late evening appointments that can work with your schedule. Time is no longer a barrier with me as your therapist.
