I am licensed in Minnesota with 3 years of professional work experience as a therapist and 4 years as a mental health case manager/social worker. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. My style is direct, compassionate, and humorous.

I draw my therapeutic approaches from cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution focused therapy. I utilize dialectical behavior interventions as well as motivational interviewing.

I have experience working in multiple settings including community based, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient treatment. I worked with adults in the community who have been diagnosed with severe and persistent mental health and co-occurring addictions. Currently, I work with adolescents diagnosed with mental health and substance use concerns. Through this work, clients focus on a multitude of concerns including (but not limited to): Self-esteem, trauma, depression, anxiety, mood, addiction, adjustment, substance use, and others. I thoroughly enjoy doing family therapy as well to help bridge a child and their caregiver.
