Hi All! Welcome to my page. I am so glad you are here. My name is Suz and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been practicing as a therapist for 6 years. I completed my graduate work at the University of Oklahoma in 2016. My work with clients has focused primarily on anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, ADHD, job and work stress and relationship issues. I am also an experienced therapist working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
My counseling style is warm, curious and interactive. I feel the most important part of the therapeutic process is the relationship created between the therapist and the client. I believe in honoring the divine within us all. I respect your unique path to growth and healing. My counseling approach includes: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Meditation. These techniques focus primarily on challenging negative thought patterns, staying grounded in the present moment and focusing on all possibilities towards growth, healing and change.
