I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 14 years of clinical experience. I specialize in young adults, couples, individuals, and families. I studied at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT where I received my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. My primary therapy method is solution-focused where I work with clients and discuss the presenting problems and issues and collaboratively determine what the ideal solution will be through the use of questions and exploration.
I believe in creating an environment for all clients that is welcome, comfortable, and safe. By creating this type of environment I hope to enhance the process of healing and change for the client. I also believe that the client is the expert in the story of their own lives and so it is important for me to take an active listening role. I will attempt to maximize the skills that already are within a client in order to minimize the problems that exist in their everyday lives.
