Working in the mental health field for over 25 years has been very rewarding. It has provided me the opportunity to work with individuals during times in their lives where they find they need a safe, supportive and non-judging environment in which to learn to cope with difficulties and challenges in order to heal and to grow. I work collaboratively with my clients to develop a plan that will help them reach their goals. I approach treatment with the mindset that individuals do not need to be in therapy “forever”.
I work effectively to help my clients explore and discover the roadblocks that are interfering with their ability to experience happiness, joy and contentment. I'm not a clinician who says I specialize in 40 different things. Instead, I focus on a few areas and do them very well.
