Hi there, I'm Susan! I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California for over 22 years with a total of 26 years working in the mental health field. My experience lies in residential, private practice, and educational settings working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My treatment methods are tailored to each individual client's needs and include such modalities as Cognitive Behavioral, Solution focused, and Mindfulness therapy. My approach My focus in treatment is to create a warm and nurturing environment where my clients have a safe and supportive place to work on their goals and lead a more happy and fulfilling life. I believe in collaborating with my clients in order to create realistic and obtainable treatment goals in a supportive setting. I also have experience in working with clients with Autism and Asperger's disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and intellectual development disorders.
