Hi. I'm Sue Maron. I have about 20 plus years of counseling experience working mainly with ages eighteen to 64. I am a National Board Certified Counselor and have my MA in Counseling Psychology from Georgian Court University in NJ where the emphasis was on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also take a humanistic approach and have a strong emphasis on Mindfulness. I believe the therapeutic approach is a collaborative one and homework assignments play a key role in my work with clients. As a former RN, I am familiar with both physical and mental health which my clients have found very helpful in their therapy experience. I like to think of myself as warm and supportive and try very hard to create a comforting, welcoming, and accepting environment. The client-counselor relationship plays a key role in the therapy process so it is my goal to create a genuine, authentic relationship. I work with Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder and other Mood Disorders. I have spent many years assisting clients in overcoming their issues with OCD. I work with the LGBTQ community and welcome people of all races and creeds. I look forward to beginning your journey with you towards better mental health!
