Hello! I'm so glad you have chosen to initiate this search for support! It takes a wise person to seek counseling, and I encourage you to find the right fit for your journey!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Michigan, with 12 years of experience working as a Psychotherapist, Trauma Informed Counselor, and Family Counselor. I started with a Psychology degree from Michigan State University, and then I decided mid-life to change careers and get my master's degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, insomnia, relationship issues, conflict resolution, substance abuse, parenting concerns, life changes, career challenges, OCD and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My myriad of professional experiences have equipped me with a unique set of skills, a wealth of knowledge and clinical expertise, to help you develop a sense of peace and develop life long wellness skills.

My counseling style is warm and welcoming. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I am very accepting and affirming. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and mindfulness counseling. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs, with your input.
