People fascinate me and my therapy work is a labor of love. Everyone has their own unique journey through this thing that we call life and sometimes there are obstacles to our happiness and peace of mind and that is when we need a compassionate person to help us. I try to be that compassionate person, who can guide you through your problems. I believe that people have an inherent ability to move towards health, and my work is centered on a strengths-based philosophy. I have been trained in experiential theories but I take an eclectic approach to therapy and use cognitive behavioral, transactional analysis and EMDR to help people. EMDR is a cutting edge therapy that can be a great fit to help those suffering from trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety as well as grief. I use if frequently. I have experience in almost all clinical populations, though I specialize in trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence and the more usual issues such as life direction, and situational stressors.

When I work with someone I work to forge a therapeutic alliance between myself and my client in order to move them towards optimal health.
