My name is Sunnie Lumpkin and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker, practicing in the Cincinnati, Ohio region. I have worked in the field of mental health since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. During this time I have gained experience working with diverse populations in a multitude of settings. My theoretical approach includes a variety of treatment modalities, including Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Treatment, Client-Centered and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am particularly interested in guiding people towards their authentic self. My practice values promoting autonomy, self-discovery as well as introspection into automatic or unconscious behavior. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone has the innate capacity and inner wisdom available to them to overcome adversity, and live their best life.
My practice hours are 10am - 3pm Monday - Friday. I generally can respond at least once per morning and once per evening, sometimes more! You can also book a live session with me ahead of time.
