I have been practicing in the counseling field for over 20 years. I am also, a husband of 31 years and have two young adult children. I mention those things first because as much as education and clinical training are important so is life experience. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board approved Clinical Supervisor. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from McMurry University in 1984. I worked at a Psych hospital as a case manager and then Hospital Unit Coordinator for over ten years before going back to school to earn a Master's in Family Psych in 1998 from (HSU). I have served on the state level with the Texas Counseling Association for many years. But, more importantly I do feel like this is what I was called to do. I chose becoming a Counselor because the Counseling field is based on helping individuals find wellness, relationally, emotionally and psychologically. I strongly believe that I am built and equipped to help families, couples and individuals do just that.
