My name is Steve Rafidi, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S). I am based out of Cleveland, Ohio, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and psychosis. My approach The treatment I provide is tailored to each individual. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the foundation. I believe that anyone can meet their goals and master their lives when given the tools that work best for them. Together we will figure out what fits for you while removing the barriers of what doesn’t. My focus I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for adults who may be dealing with the overall challenges of life brought on by stressors or traumatic experiences. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, and stress. I work to help my clients navigate their concerns and build the skills they need to feel better so they can live their most authentic lives. My communication style My communication style is calm, compassionate, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, so I listen without judgment and ask questions to better understand. I can also be direct when it is needed or requested. My journey to therapy I decided to become a therapist because I love to help people. I have always been drawn to helping others through difficult times. Everyone deserves to have someone who will always have their back. My goals for you My approach to goal setting with clients is all about working together to define what you want to accomplish. This often starts by taking time to build trust between us and getting comfortable with exploring and discussing challenging topics.
