I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience. In that time, I have been able to work with clients/patients on a wide range of concerns that have included depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD and addiction. I have also been able to work with clients who are experiencing challenges associated with relationships as well as clients who have experienced various forms of trauma

My therapy style is warm and very interactive. I am non-judgmental and treat all clients with respect and compassion. As a part of that, I believe in a client-centered approach in which the therapist plays the role of a cheerleader of sorts while offering guidance to clients that will help them make the best decisions for themselves. While I utilize different therapeutic techniques in my sessions with clients, my theoretical style falls between CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT ( Dialectical Behavior Therapy).

It takes a lot of courage to take the first step and seek help. It is a block that I see a lot, especially in adults on a day to day basis. I am here to help anyone who is willing to get past that block and move towards having a happy, healthy life for themselves. On that note, I look forward to working with you.
