Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III in the State of Ohio and South Carolina. Much of my clinical background has been working with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. I have served adolescents, veterans, adult and older adult populations. I have experience working with individuals that are court-mandated and who also seek counseling on their own accord.

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have had specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I have also had training in two evidenced-informed approaches, which are Integrative Family and Systems Treatment (I-FAST) and Mindfulness-based Sobriety (MBS).

My therapeutic style is meeting the client where they are at. I am rooted in the philosophy of "personal choice and control", meaning the client is in control over how they wish to be helped and what services and support they need. My hope is to foster a collaborative relationship to help facilitate desired changes. The client will be met with compassion and respect.
