My name is Stephanie Sanchez and I am the Owner and Founder of the practice. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years experience in the field. I earned my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology from Elmhurst College in 2012. I then went onto pursue my Masters in Social Work from Aurora University which I earned in 2015. I have always had a passion for helping others which began at a young age. Being the eldest of three children I was taught by my parents to develop a nurturing, warm, and compassionate role. The skills I acquired early on have helped be become successful in my career and in my personal life as a wife and mother to a 1 year old. Professionally, I have worked in end of life care, community mental health, school work settings, and private practice settings. My vast experience has shaped my ability to be versatile and knowledgeable in the field. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I am currently working towards national certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, and love playing and exploring new adventures with my son. I also enjoy doing yoga, meditating, and traveling. I especially love going to the beach and warm weather! My philosophy is always to meet my clients where they are in their journey with no judgement and full unconditional support.
