Whether you have experience engaging in therapy already or looking for resources for the first time, I praise you. Searching and asking for support is not easy and takes a great deal of courage and vulnerability. Although poor mental health takes a significant toll on our daily lives, many of us were not taught about mental health in general, let alone how to manage it appropriately. I understand the confusion and discomfort that comes from not understanding my actions and behaviors in the past. Lived experiences and education have allowed me to strengthen my abilities to meet clients where they are and support them in gaining helpful insight and tools to process and cope with difficult experiences as well as life's daily stressors.
