About

Something in your life has brought you here and I’m glad you have arrived. Seeking help in our lives takes courage to reach out. The complexities and seasons that life takes us through mean that there is no perfect response. However, better ways and better days are possible. Professional partnership can lead you there. Maybe you are just curious, maybe you are ready to take another step – let’s talk and figure it out together.

In session, I use a tailored approach that works best for the individual or couples that I work with. Some of the theories that I may draw from are as follows: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Talk Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, & Trauma Processing.

Know, thought, that therapy is on your terms. You may simply want a safe space to feel heard and understood while processing life’s complexities. You may want a guiding hand to partner with you in creating tangible improvements in your life. My role is to be what you need, wherever you are, today.

A little about me...born and raised in Florida I’ve spent most of my life in Jacksonville where many of my most cherished memories were made. Raised as the daughter of an immigrant I’ve seen the challenges that face many people from different circumstances and how beautiful life can be in spite of hardships.

As a Florida native I’m partial to the outdoors, and particularly the beach. I can be found most days sitting on the shore with a good book watching my husband surf, or splashing around the waves myself.

When not in the sun I can be found doing any number of other hobbies that I enjoy, including: watering my one-too-many house plants, working on a novel, taking an improv comedy class, yoga with my cat, meditating, or battling monsters with my husband through our Playstation.

Professionally speaking, I hold a Masters in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University (2018) and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida.

As a therapist I take very seriously the privilege that I hold in being let in to a persons life, pain and trials. I take pride in this honor and work to understand and support each individual through whatever they are going through. In this role, I’ve seen great pain and great hope and healing. I truly love what I do and what each day brings. I can’t wait to meet you and help you find that same feeling in your life.
